5 Hot Tips for Successful Real Estate Investments!

7 tips for a 1031

For people who desire to become Real Estate Investors the best advice is to study the market and be patient. A good deal will come along - you KNOW it will be a good deal because you have been doing your homework.

Some good books to keep motivated and teach you about yourself and financial security are:

Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill - Written in 1937, this is a timeless classic, it will prime your brain to look for opportunities. Napoleon Hill interviewed the great leaders of the 20th century, Henry Ford, Alexander Gram Bell, Andrew Carnegie, and more, 20 in all.  This book captures the essence of their knowledge.  It is a must read, for any aspiring businessman.  "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki - This book should be required reading for all high-school students.  It teaches about finance, cash flow, liabilities, and assets, in a very entertaining style.  It will also prime your brain to look for potential opportunities. "A true luxury is a reward for investing in and developing a real asset."

Who Moved My Cheese, Spencer Johnson, M.D. - A short book about how to change. It is about four personalities and how they react when presented with the need to change.  "Savor The Adventure And Enjoy The Taste Of New Cheese!"

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey - Will open your mind to permanent fixtures in your life: values, family, relationships and communicating.

The Art of War, Sun Tuz.  Written in the 6th Century the Art of War - Folded into this small package are compact views on resourcefulness, momentum, cunning, the profit motive, flexibility, integrity, secrecy, speed, positioning, surprise, deception, manipulation, responsibility, and practicality.  If you know both yourself and your enemy, you will come out of one hundred battles with one hundred victories.

The Art of the Deal, Donald Trump - The perpetual showman.  Art of the Deal has some great tips for financing, development construction, negotiating, marketing and entrepreneurial style.

Richest Man in Babylon, George Clason  - Wisdom for the Ages.  A simple plan, save at least a dime for every dollar you make, and invest it.  You can live off your income, but you will never get rich off your income.

The Power of Focus, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Leslie Hewitt - The authors include new stories and their own personal anecdotes to show the importance of having successful habits, creating balance, maintaining confidence, building excellent relationships, etc.

Do you have any other books we should read to help us become better businesspeople.
